Persons participating in rides and/or events organised by SABERS Inc
are reminded that motorcycling is dangerous and that
accidents can and do happen. ALL SABERS Inc
organised rides are conducted in as safe a manner as
possible. Non use of indicators, unsafe
overtaking, endangering other riders or actions
considered inappropriate by SABERS Inc marshals will not
be tolerated and the offending rider/s will be asked to
leave the ride. Please ensure that your bike is in a
road worthy and legal condition. SABERS Inc and its
organizers will take all reasonable care and precautions
when organising rides and events, however SABERS Inc,
and its organizers cannot and will not be held
responsible for unforeseen circumstances, events or
mishaps that may occur, for what ever reason.
By participating in a SABERS Inc organized ride or event, you
acknowledge and agree without reservation that you do so
entirely at you own risk and agree to hold harmless and
blameless, SABERS Inc, organizers and participants.

Sunday October 19th: Pink Ribbon
Run
- This run is being organised by W.I.M.A. to raise
money for Breast Cancer Research and will be
supported by SABERS
- Meets at 0900 at the Burnside Village Shopping
Centre, corner of Portrush and Greenhill Roads,
Burnside and departs at 1015. Coffee available
at the Village
- Ride goes through Balhannah, Woodside, Birdwood,
Mount Pleasant, Springton, Angaston to Nuriootpa.
- Registration fee is $10 which includes a sausage
sizzle and door prizes. Drinks will be
available at the oval.
- Prize for best dressed bike
Sunday October
26th: Northern Run
*** 07 RUN***
- This is a run we ran last year and was quickly accepted as a favourite.
- Riders gather at Caltex Munno Para at 9:00am for
a 10:00 am departure
- We will head to Tanunda via Gawler, Sedan and then to Mannum.
- We have lunch at Mannum then head back to Lobethal and Adelaide.
Saturday November
1st: Jen's Mystery Southern Run
- Jen will be leading this ride in the
Southern area
- Riders gather at Maximoto’s
at 9 am. 100A Anzac Highway, Everard Park SA 5035
(it’s actually just around the
corner, South of Anzac Hwy on South Road)
- Henrik will hopefully be
putting on a BBQ Breakfast for us.
- Ride departs at 10 am and
goes wherever Jen takes us, though we can say it’s
in a generally southern direction.
- Please start the ride with a
full tank of fuel
Sunday November 9th: RSPCA Cruise for
Critters
- SABERS are this year again supporting the RSPCA
Cruise for Critters and will be Marshalling for this
event.
- Riders to gather at Craigburn Primary School,
Murray Hill Road, Flagstaff Hill at 9:00 am, coffee
and registration available
- Departs at 10.00am sharp on a scenic ride
through the Adelaide Hills (about 90kms)
- Ride finishes at Frank Smith Dam, Coromandel
Valley where a scrumptious BBQ will be available
- Pre Registration is $10 per rider, $8 per
pillion or $15 and $10 on the day
- No pets allowed on bikes.

Sunday November 16th: POKER RIDE

Riders gather at the big Caltex/McDonald’s complex
on the corner of Main North Road, Montague Road,
Pooraka at 9 am.

Ride departs at 10 am.

The ride will be through the Adelaide Hills to
Birdwood – Sedan – Mannum – Lobethal and then back
to Café Cibo on Melbourne street.

This ride is suitable for all riders and capacity
bikes.

Poker hands $5 each.

The winning hand will win $40.00
Saturday December 6th: Bills
Sponsored Run - TBC
- Gather at Bills Motorcycles in the City, check out
the new BRM Spyder and have a BBQ Breakfast.

Sunday December 14th: SABERS XMAS
- Gather at Civic Park, Modbury for a cruise to Birdwood Motor Museum.
- The museum opens the gates for us and there is something for everyone and all ages.

and I are heading up to the
Flinders Ranges on Saturday the 18th October
and touring round for a few days, returning to
Adelaide on Tuesday 21st October 2008.

Committee Meetings
Committee Meetings are usually held on the 4th Monday of each month.
Currently meetings are held at the Glynde Hotel.
Tea is available from 6:30pm, meeting starts at 7:30pm.
